Couran Cove Rentals

At Couran Cove Rentals we offer for holiday rental a lagoon lodge and a Kites Nest eco-cabin at the beautiful Couran Cove Island Resort on South Stradbroke Island, Queensland.

The lodge is located on the lagoon and its front deck offers beautiful views of the lagoon and the resort.  It has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a separate toilet, a kitchen and a living room, with decks at the front and rear.   The lodge has a refrigerator, a range top cooker and a microwave.  There are two 30 inch digital  TV sets - one in the living area and one in the master bedroom.  The lodge has air conditioners in the living room and in both bedrooms.  Cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils are provided.  The lodge sleeps 5 people; the master bedroom has a king size bed, the second bedroom has two beds (which can be pushed together to make a double bed if desired)  and  there is a fold out bed in the living room.  Linen is provided.

The eco-cabin is set in the beautiful rain forest between the resort and the surf beach.  It comprises 2 and a half bedrooms, two bathrooms (both with toilets), a kitchen and dining area and a living room.  The cabin has front and back verandas which are fully insect screened.  It has a 30 inch digital TV set in the living room.  The cabin  has a refrigerator, a range top cooker, a microwave and a barbecue.  Cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils are provided.  The cabin sleeps 5 people.  The master bedroom has a Queen size bed, the second bedroom has 2 single beds and the there is a further single bed in the alcove adjoining the second bedroom.  Linen is provided.

The Couran Cove Island Resort was recently reopened under the badge "Ramada Couran Cove Island Resort".  Guests in our lodge and cabin are entitled to use all of the Resort's facilities, which include a 25 metre lap swimming pool, an expansive childen's swimming pool, 2 tennis courts, 2 gymnasiums, a table tennis area, a children's playground and a basketball and volleyball area.   See photos of these facilities below.

The resort has 2 restaurants and a cafe, and a small kiosk which sells some basic grocery items.  It is recommended that guests purchase their groceries on the mainland and bring them across with them. The trading times of the Resort restaurants and cafes should be checked with the Resort on the Ramada Couran Cove Island Resort Website.

Adult bikes can be hired from the Resort (there are no cars on the island).

There are abundant walking trails and a majestic rainforest boardwalk and observation deck. 

Enjoy the 22kms of unspoilt surf beach and the wonderful native flora and fauna, including wallabies and native birds.

There is a ferry which operates between the Resort and Hope Island.  The cost of the ferry is $30 return for adults and $15 return for children.  We can organise ferry bookings for you if you want us to.  Alternatively the Resort can be accessed by water taxi or private boat (which can be moored at the Resort for a fee charged by the resort).

Please note that while our guests are entitled to use all of the Resort's facilities, you will not be guests of the Ramada Couran Cove Island Resort, but rather will be our guests.  Accordingly any enquiries about our private lettings should be directed to us, and not to the Ramada Couran Cove Island Resort.  Further, when staying in our lodge or cabin on the island, please direct any questions or requirements to us, not to the Ramada Couran Cove Island Resort.

Rates

Rates for the lagoon lodge start from $190 per night, subject to a minimum stay of 4 nights.

Rates for the Ecocabin start from $130 per night, subject to a minimum stay of 4 nights.
